It is suited for expansion, construction, control joints, and materials that move due to temperature or structural shifts. It also works between different building materials. Q2. Is primer needed? In most cases no primer is necessary. But for continuously wet or highly porous surfaces, using a primer (or "Pidiprime A") may improve adhesion. Q3. Can it be used on damp surfaces? Yes, it is damp surface tolerant. However, too much water (ponding) may affect curing. Q4. What is the joint depth vs width ratio? For joints of 6-12 mm width, the depth should be 1:1. For wider joints (12-25 mm), depth ≈ half the width (2:1 ratio to width). Q5. What temperature range is good for application? Recommended application range is roughly 5 °C to 40 °C.
