91 000 74051 MYK LATICRETE HYDRO BAN® is a high-performance, liquid-applied waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane. It's a single-component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless, load-bearing waterproof barrier when applied, without the need for fabric reinforcement even in corners or coves. ✅ What it is / Key Features Thin and seamless — when cured, the membrane is only about 0.5 mm–0.8 mm (0.020"–0.030") thick. Flexible & crack-bridging — offers anti-fracture protection, capable of bridging substrate cracks up to ~3 mm (≈ 1/8"). Fast curing & early flood-testing — under suitable conditions, allows flood testing as early as 24–48 hours after application. Bonds to diverse substrates — adheres directly to concrete, cement plaster/screed, cement mortar beds, cement backer boards, brick masonry, even metal or PVC plumbing fixtures (subject to guidelines) Tiles/stones can be installed directly — supports tiling, brickwork or stone finishes directly over the cured membrane without additional layers. Safe & durable — non-flammable, solvent-free, meets recognized waterproofing standards (e.g. ANSI A118.10 / A118.12), and includes antimicrobial protection to resist mold and mildew. ��️ Typical Applications Hydro BAN is suitable for a wide range of waterproofing needs including: Bathrooms, shower pans and stalls — wet areas in residential or commercial properties.
